Can you hear the Knysna Lourie? It's calling out your name inside the forest Can you hear the Knysna Lourie? It's sweet surrender calling out your name Take me back to it Can you hear Knysna Lourie? It's watching from the branches in the sky What do you see oh Knysna Lourie? Dancing on the East Coast Dancing on the beaches Up on the East Coast Tripping out, dancing in the sand Have you seen the Knysna Lourie? His call is no where in the valley Where is the Knysna Lourie? For the life of me, I cannot find him in this city Find me, a Knysna Lourie Find me, a Knysna Lourie Find me, a Knysna Lourie Find me, a Knysna Lourie Find me, a Knysna Lourie Find me, a Knysna Lourie Find me, a Knysna Lourie Find me, a Knysna Lourie Find me, a Knysna Lourie

Sunsets 03:11
Do you see me? Across the bay These tides are ebbing I'm getting washed away I feel like I'm floating You look right in place Feeling you closer I said warm breath, cold hands, let's dance oh Sunsets Burning on the East Coast I said Sunsets Burning on the East Coast I said Sunsets Burning on the East Coast Do you feel it? Inside of you A deepened yearning To make journey to That little village Let's return Walking on empty beaches, desert sands Just you, just me, let's dance oh I said Sunsets Burning on the East Coast I said Sunsets Burning on the East Coast I said Sunsets Burning on the East Coast I said Sunsets Burning on the East Coast I said Sunsets Burning on the East Coast I said Sunsets Burning on the East Coast Sunsets Burning on the East Coast I said Sunsets Burning on the East Coast I said Sunsets Burning on the East Coast

Direction 03:31
I didn't know my way back home I got lost one night, locked up all alone But you are, you are my new direction Maybe all these roads lead to Rome but you are perfection See on that evening when you called me We talked away the night I knew I had to have you That's when it all began I knew I had to have you That's where it all began I couldn't find a way to you I was barred, unable to come through But I found, I found, I found a compass It said to you go forth and I'll find a way through See on that evening when you called me We talked away the night I knew I had to have you That's where it all began I knew I had to have you That's where it all began That evening when you called me, speaking softly

Gonna Leave 03:28
Don't you know our loves been feeling hard It's been such a long time since the start The light keep getting distant in this fog More and more I think we're gettin lost Hold me one more time before the storm Comes Hold me one more time cause I know I know you're gonna leave And I know it's fine by me So if I know you gonna leave Why do I feel this way? I know you're gonna leave And I know it's fine by me So if I know you gonna leave Why do I feel this way? Don't you know that we're both getting hurt The more we try the less it feels to work Hold me one more time before the storm comes Hold me one more time cause I know I know you're gonna leave And I know it's fine by me So if I know you gonna leave Why do I feel this way? I know you're gonna leave And I know it's fine by me So if I know you gonna leave Why do I feel this way? I know you're gonna leave And I know it's fine by me So if I know you gonna leave Why do I feel this way? I know you're gonna leave And I know it's fine by me So if I know you gonna leave Why do I feel this way?

about

Dancing on the East Coast is 18-year-old budding singer-songwriter Benji Anstey’s first E.P release. The Capetonian spent almost a year meticulously crafting each song on the album, leaving his mark on every part of the creative process: from writing, to recording, mixing and even mastering. The entire album was conceived, developed and matured in his bedroom studio, using a single microphone, guitar and a friend’s bass.

A Digital Purchase comes with a bonus PDF Guide containing information on each song and the EP in general.
